Takes some getting used to
I manage a few good aerial shots but for the most part I just leave it for statics and taxiing
Must het a D10 sometime myself to replace my 500N’s
I agree, it’s just that it can be a bit frustrating and I wish they waited till they knew for certain
It’s a bit like being a kid a Xmas and not getting the toy you’d been dropping hints about all year lol 😀
Seemed to be desperately trying to get it ready in time
Seems a bit daft that this happens year after year
They are always rushing to get something ready for Legends, with they would either plan it better or wait till the next year when it will definateky be ready instead of getting us excited and rushing trying to do it
The P-51 Princess Elizabeth is a prime example
Rushed to get it done for the show and it hasn’t flown since
A bit worrying really
Still it was great to be able to see the Hurrican Mk IV
If only they could persuade the BBMF to put their Spit up with it next year 🙂

Everton – no variety? Since when? La9, Ju52s, Corsairs, Lockheed 12, grrrrr:mad:That list is quality.
Assuming they all turn up of course
Corsairs aren’t much different
Not had much else in recent years that’s been different
Only things like the A-36 last year
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great show but I’ve seen the Spitfire and Mustang tail chase for the last 5 years
It would also be nice to think that planes later than WW2 can be classed as legends in their own right
The early jets seem to suffer from a lack of bookings and interest
Jets such as Vampires, Meteors, Hunters etc are also legends imho
Be nice to have them there for a bit of variety for a change
Sounds expensive!

Two simple statements.1) We would all prefer that aircraft didn’t have to be hung
2) Hanging aircraft leaves room in the museum for another aircraft which might otherwise be rotting in the open or tucked away from our view.
A no-brainer in my opinion.

Very true
Hope to see something good happening with that Stirling Steve 🙂

Before you know it, they’ll have a Stirling and Whitley in there.
Not a big fan of hanging planes up either
Wouldn’t mind some sort of replicas of bombers like those
Shame none survived
How much? 😀 :p
Is Lee Proudfoot moving up in power then?
Bit diff to flying the Lizzie
Could you just replace the stuff that doesn’t have the paperwork?
Things like this always seem a bit strange when they’ve already been flying over here but on s different register
As Damien wrote, fantastic picture Gareth
Hope mine are half as good as, though I think I’ll probably just have smoke trails of where the Extra had been 😀

Normally it does
My Dad mentioned something about a delay getting it on the UK register
I’m sure someone will give you a more detailled answer soon 🙂
Yep a good day out, except for the sunburn!
Be nice to see the DC-2 next to a DC-3 to get a better look at the differences between the 2
Nice to see a DC-2, never seen one before
Did the Sea Vixen leave yesterday?
Was hoping to watch it depart, like the commentator announced it would
Stayed till 19:00 but it didn’t go
Hope it’s back in the air soon
