I was there too. Saw the bits falling off the Sea Vixen but didn’t realise what was happening. The Spirit of St Louis crash must be down to differing viewpoints. I clearly saw the starboard wing fold up after an initial twist and then plummet to the ground. I understand from a local that it crashed on the road outside. As it happened, I thought I’d try to take a picture to see if it would help, thought it was too late, and even more importantly, didn’t want to. If the pilot’s survived I’ll be delighted, and very surprised.
I went to my first airshow, kneehigh to a tailskid, in 1957 or 58.
It’s the first mishap I’ve ever seen. I’m having trouble coming to terms with it.
You’ve been very fortunate and I hope you never need to see another
I remember my first when I was a kid, hit me hard that night
Terrible news, hope the pilot is ok
Was looking forward to seeing that plane too
Is tomorrow still going ahead?
I’ll be there on the Sunday with my Dad and girlfriend
So if you seen someone in an Everton top it might just be me!
A great film
Playing Enter the Matrix is a must for any big fans of the Matrix
Gives extra understanding and back story
I hope they’re going to release some of the extra scenes, maybe a la LOTR extended version
Can’t keep playing the game when I want to watch the trilogy!!
The Animatrix is great
The first 3 are a must watch!
Some are better than others, got them all in DivX
Just waiting to buy the DVD now 🙂
Roll on November!!
They should do more stuff in the style of Final Flight of the Osiris
(should do the same with Star Wars)

I’m definately interested
I’ve got the C700UZ
Not tried it on fast jets, but it’s good enough for all other things, especially considering that it’s £1000 cheaper than a digital slr

Biggest problem is that you cant take multiple shots quickly and that the zoom is slow
Cracking little camera for its cost and size though
Just wish I had the money to upgrade my 500N’s to D10s
Wonder when it will be out for Region 2?
Can I wait that long
About time they released it
Hopefully all our emails did some good, I got a lot of people emailling on the IL-2 Sturmovik board as well
RE: Rebuild or Replica??
I think “rebuild” is a bit of a stretch as their wasn’t much left of the airframe
That Woodford airshow was my first experience of an airshow crash, and unfortunately not my last
It seems that if they can get the original aircraft plates then it is considered a rebuild, even if they are rebuilding 99% of the aircraft
Maybe it should be considered to be a new build
RE: Battle of Britian Video
Yep, that’s the one!
Got it on VHS but want, no NEED it on DVD 😉
Imagine all the extras that you could add….
RE: Battle of Britain – reply/ new address
Just need MGM to get their finger out then 😉
RE: Everton_1878 – Let’s Mass Email MGM for BofB DVD!

RE: Everton_1878 – Let’s Mass Email MGM for BofB DVD!
I recieved my email reply from DDevereaux@MGM.com
MGM have a feedback page on their site somewhere that I used for the initial contact
There must be massive scope for DVD extras.
Documentaries, wartime footage and un-used footage such as used in Dark Blue World
Keep me up to date on MGM’s replies!!
They’ve released other less popular war films so why not this?
Can even get Dambusters on DVD now
Heres to BoB on DVD 🙂
RE: B of B DVD?
Any new definate news on a DVD release then Damien?
Might pester them again 🙂
RE: B of B DVD?
