    I forgot to mention that a shoal of Marlins turned up 😀
    gorgeous motor’s with what looked like a lot TLC put into them.
    Got a few pics of them (and Lindy of course), I’ll post them up when I’ve worked out how to 😮 (ps i’m no david bailey so don’t hold your breath :D)

    How big an order would have to be put in before they would make a batch up?
    might be worth getting some to sell to visitors to raise a few green backs 🙂

    Hey Blue 2, try the terrane limited site, they have that design as a sticker really cheap and 55 sqn patches as well, also check out caricature aircraft pictures site, they have a great Victor print you mihght be interested in.

    Believe me Blue 2, I wish I could spend several months worth of weekends helping out on Lindy I really do (to help out and muck in with the team, not just to blagg a free ride in her), but I’m over 3 hrs away and I work shifts so I would only be able to make the odd weekend 🙁
    could you reccomend a good hotel for when I do make it over, preferably one with a pool, my lad won’t stay in any hotel that doesn’t have a pool :rolleyes:

    how will I recognise yourself to say hello (will you be the one with a cuppa in one hand and a bacon sarnie in the other ;):D)
    ps do you let passengers in the cockpit on the fast taxy runs (for a fee of course!)

    I don’t know much about this aircraft and even less about the politics around her, I think Charles and the team (be it an ever changing one) have done bl**dy well under the circumstances.

    Like I’ve said in earlier posts, there are more men whov’e walked on the moon still alive than there are live lightnings left, so we shouldn’t knock anyone who’s trying to keep such a fantastic iconic aircraft away from the scrap heap let alone as a runner!

    Good luck for the future, hope you get the team on board you and 724 deserve and hope you have a very speedy journey back to full health Charles.
