    Anna, are you at the very end of the runway? I think in future i need to head to the end of the runway to get better photo’s

    The ATC bird in the first photo and the 3 lasses in the last are quite nice… oh wait this was an airshow? i like the uhhh spitfire 😮

    I saw this this morning and was going to post but remembered that you almost always do so. It made me think that there might be a place here for an obituary thread, so that all these fine men and women will be gathered together in one place on the forum.

    Obituary thread would be an excellent idea. An almost shrine to these heroes and heroines. I third this idea

    Some fantastic shots there! Really wish I could make it this year. Instead I’m stuck watching the Wales National Air Display this weekend 🙁

    Leo Mckinstry’s Hurricane: Victor of the Battle of Britain is one. Although I have yet to read it, if it’s anything like his one on the Spitfire it will be well balanced and researched.
    Also, Hurricane over the jungle looks at its place over in the Pacific in the early days.

    Let’s not forget Spitfire on Spitfire action with regards to the RAF, Isreali Air Force and Egytian Air force :rolleyes: Proof that even advanced Spits could be outdone by the earlier

    Same, I’ve never been particularly fussed on Miss D’s colour scheme, Would much prefer a No.738 SQN.’Rough Diamonds’ Aerobatic Team,Royal Navy, Brawdy. All down to personal preference at the end of the the day :rolleyes:
