Wow, superb shots there. Looks like Stansted is a veritable city of 737s, I particularly like the Iceland Express and the Norwegian aircraft with the black and white piccy on the tail.
You should consider sending the Iceland Express aircraft to one of the aircraft magazines, I am sure the ones I read haven’t mentioned that carrier before.

Great Pics – Last time I went to Dusseldorf was a few weeks before the bad fire they had there back in 1996. Your pics really show the variety of what comes in there, great stuff.

    Thanks for the comments guys.
I believe the first United B747 will leave the paintshop in the new colours in June.

There is a very good Star Alliance website here

It seems that US Airways has just joined it too – so expect to see a few more from now on.

then you would get millions of deomstic (domestic) flights arriving – yawn.

The beauty of the domestic flights though is that you can practice your photography and get it right for the big and rare stuff that comes in like that great Etihad Airways jet you took in another thread. And you have to admit that BMI scheme is just the coolest…

A330Crazy – Great Pics – wish I could get down there again soon – damned work – oh well maybe this Friday depending on the weather. That JAL B777 – was it JA706J – if it is then it seems the only one they ever use on the route. I have now got about 15 pictures of it having seen it on two different occasions – Please send a different one JAL.

Marvellous Pics there Ren Frew – very pleased to see another beautiful aircraft in our skies once again – and to see that facilities were made for people to go and have a look too. Splendid stuff.

This is one of these long-haul lo-cost carriers or just another charter airline with a six month lifespan – Okay maybe not six months but a short lasting one nevertheless…

I know it would be highly unlikely – but I think the 7E7 would look really rather good in the colours of this British airline that is currently for an all Airbus Fleet… 😎

I try to avoid the Visitors Centre at all costs – If such a facility is placed there then photographers are screwed because it faces the sun – Nice Planning BAA!

But does the camera take a picture automatically or so if the time is right?

No – The camera focuses automatically but was set on manual settings of around 1/350th of a second to 1/500th but the picture is not taken automatically. For each picture you see here there 5-6 ones similar to ensure I use the best one on the Internet. I took about 15 of the Gulf Air Special Scheme in the 15-20s it took to fly out of range.
