and I hope he’s given you clearance for low flying.

    He’s teaching him to fly it….. 😉

A year on, very sad indeed however the memories are brilliant and will never fade.

Great to see the OFMC aeroplanes busy on the show scene, although talking to one of their staff at the Duxford show the support group has been disbanded, I hope it’s not a sign of things to come……Anyway I have my model MH434 on my desk and I look at it every day…..

    God Bless Ray

I love the way that they have got it so authentic to the original, by even incorporating the incorrect fuselage roundels that MH wears! And didn’t the advert in AI indicate that Ferocious Frankie is actually the original aeroplane…How laughable, more made up aircraft histories to become “gospel” no doubt! I can hear it now….”But it IS the original FF, it says so on the box of my corgi model box”

    baaa humbug! :p

First time I noticed MH434’s fuselage roundels, good shout they got them ‘correct’ then! 😀

Where abouts is this Vulcan kept? Who owns her?

I dont think I’ve seen one in the White scheme before….Very sad if she is to be scrapped but if parts are helping other aircraft then at least its not a total disaster….

Warbirds come and go and nothing is forever so thanks to the Brieghton Team for giving us the chance to see these amazing aeroplanes…..and many more to come no doubt.

If she leaves these shores then I’m sure it will be to a good home….Some we win some we loose. 🙂

Well, you laugh, and I doubt it’ll ever make Leg Ends, but DX do have “dibs” on one of these puppies, should they still wish to acquire one that is.

They will need to extend the AAM

    £27.9 Million

I just cant see how thats value for money when in truth the aircraft exhibition space hasn’t increased by that much. 🙁

I’m so fed up with Airspace and being mugged at Duxford airshows to donate £250 so someone can have a nice new office 😡

Therein lies the problem. Much of what is said on this Forum is un-informed opinion. Uninformed as it is often not based upon fact, made of wild speculative notions all for the sake of waiting a few weeks to find out what the reality is. If you don’t believe me, try taking a trawl through these hallowed pages. Much of the speculation on here is disporoved after an awful lot of hot air and feather ruffling. At times, this place seems more like a testosterone zone than a aviation forum.

The good bit about the Forum is that there are still some very well informed people who visit here providing up to date access to the goings on in aviation. If I want to read the male equivalent of a ‘Chick Flick’, I’d buy Nuts or FHM.

Some speculation can be interesting in small doses. Whinging and sniping simply lets on that the author doesn’t know, but would like to. It generally also means that they have no way of knowing until the truth is posted on the web, proving perhaps that they are in the category of the un-informed.

It has nothing to do with conforming.

you assume that I am not ‘informed’ in my opinion???

Most kits look like plastic versions of Corgi models!! :diablo: The reason the pics of the forthcoming Corgi Halifaxes look like plastic kits is because they ARE plastic kits. Corgi had to use Airfix and Matchbox kits just to illustrate their new models, as the toolings haven’t been made yet!

    Albert,

Any reason why Elvington’s Friday 13th was not selected?

Great news on this release, I have a few Corgi models as I don’t have time to build kits anymore 😮 Some of the detail is outstanding. Especially on the Swordfish and Gladiator models. 🙂
