I thought it was going to be MAN based operating the Caribbean and Las Vegas routes.

My best flight was probably on an Excel B757 because the service was fantastic, the seats were comfy and the flight was early both ways.

I like it. Very simple and I like it when people win a lot.

Why would Monarch advertise in Southampton when it isn’t one of their main bases?

I did MAN-LGW on my way to Egypt, it took about 45 minutes on the A300 and we were cruising at 19,000 feet. You are allowed to stay on the aircraft as they only stop there to pick up more passengers and have a crew change.

Went on G-MONR in March. Not generous with the legroom, especially in the middle. However, it is better than the Air Scandic A300 G-TTMC I flew a couple of years ago.

    We got an Air Baltic 737, a GB 320, a couple of Monarchs, a BA Embraer, a BA Dash 8, a couple of BA 319s, a KL F100 and a LH 320.

That BMI 330 is great! Unfortunately I missed that plane when I was in MAN. 4 days in MAN and not a single shot of a BMI 330 in their livery only with that dreadful star alliance livery.

    Great shots there Tony!

You probably don’t want to hear this Tenthije but that Star Alliance has been down at LHR since Thursday. You were just unlucky to get that one.
