I quite like the 742s. As do EAL as they now have 2 ex-VS 742s currently operating for the Hajj programme.

I don’t think it will be possible for the 763 of AV8 to cover all those services and do two South African flights. I may be wrong but it would be in my eyes, over-utilisation of the 763 by asking it to do that.

Apparently, Funchal is a brilliant airport for spotting. There is a road right above the runway which is excellent for spotting. Experienced captains are needed here.

Don’t worry. My stupid head keeps our school open no matter what. Mind you, I can do a bit of plane spotting at my school as EZY, HH flying for FR, FR, MYT and occasionally BY all come in on descent into LPL over my school.

I thought that ATC was meant to guide the aircraft to its stand. I wonder why they didn’t that time.

That is serious. That’s like the EZY 737 that hit a pole in Amsterdam isn’t it. I’ve been on that TCX 753 as well.
