Pantsir-SA
i would think they are better off spending money on ASW capabilities..
once again thanks.good work with the thread.
thanks TRI.so basically its an unnavalised MiG-29K
was the Orel mordenised or just repaired?
Russia to start deliveries of MiG-29 fighters to Egypt this year
so which is it?29 or 35 and if its 29 which 29?
It does not really require a rocket scientist to solve this.. There are no “US lies” or “Russian lies”.. it’s simply a matter of interpretation..
– if Americans say 58 out of 59 Tomahawks hit the target, they are most likely right.. 58 Tomahawks seem to have hit the air base..
– if Russians say 23 out of 59 Tomahawks hit the targets, they are right, too. 23 missiles could have hit something at least remotely valuable, the rest were spent on piles of rubble, rusty fuel tanks or concrete pathways.Take this photo for example..
Western media would write – 3 of 3 hits !! The Tomahawks have striked with unparalleled accuracy !!
Russian media would write – 1 hit, 2 missed !! Only one missile out of three has managed to hit the shelter !! (which was empty, BTW)Neither side is lying, this is how propaganda works.. an outright lie will get you caught, you just don’t do this.. half-truths are much better as they leave plenty of room for later interpretation.. US can only work with sat pics, these are kinda deceiving as they show the splashes but they won’t tell you that nothing valuable has been achieved.. Russians know it, that is why they have rushed in reporter teams to show the real damage.. and it’s funny to see the western press grasping at straws and reposting those two burned Fitters over and over.. suddenly, even Sputnik news are good enough for them as a source..
Anyway, the attack shows several things.. a) the Tomahawk missile is a reliable and accurate weapon.. b) Trump definitely did not have intention to destroy Sheyrat or even impair the ability of SyAAF to strike against the IS c) there were no chem weapon storages on Sheyrat. since the US do not intent to carry out any more strikes, it wasn’t Assad’s work and US intel is well aware of it..
BTW, I am still struggling with the US claim that 20 aircraft have been destroyed.. the images only show two.. where is the rest? I have serious doubts that the whole air base even hosted that many operational aircraft..
Nuff said.. nothing more to see here, move on..
bravo!good one
Not sure if the upload was 1080p, but here you go, nkvd:
I bet they speedily mumbled the bit about the PW1400G geared-turbofan- but still a considerable achievement.

a big day for Russia`s post-Soviet aviation industry
Wow is this for real?
All T-50 fanboys need to send the Russian government an appeal begging for his release.
Some of the info he provided seemed a bit over the top to me nonetheless i hope they just warn him but no prosecution.
Ooops indeed.:)
UPD: Actually, there is some news. Looks like the insider with a nickname Azohen Vey has been detained by FSB. =
Can you provide a link?if true it’s not that suprising
Ridiculous posts come from people who do not know their stuff.
We do not assume anything, we know exactly that those figures are on the side of Night Hunter not on Apaches side. Speed we know official and inofficial is higher 295km/h without Longbow, 275 km/h with longbow (official figures) Mi-28 300km/h and with Arbalet 280 km/h(TV3-117VMA2 now they are supplied with VK-2500-2) 200 shp more so it is slightly increased just like AH-64D (US) have inferior speed compared with AH-1 (UK AH-64D with rolls royce 2100 shp engines). Range is also greater if not counting ferry range. 410km for AH-64E versus 450km for Mi-28N. Deployability is also based on factors such as logistical supply chain which US always will lose since it is a child prone to blackmailing and sanction games (Mistral blackmail of France banks corruption), maintenance, spare parts, and hours between errors is important. Many other figures aswell. No army should consider a tender based on tailored requirements but based on military needs in a big picture.
What a typo that is to believe Apache is better in precision of ammunition/munition. It is quite known to be less accurate and having several problems involved based on the technologies of SALH. The performance of course increased with E model and M-TADS aswell Hellfire-2 but the reports never stopped. It is clearly that the tender is everything but based on technology just another T-90 nonsense of “losing” while being higher in results. There are some problems at that time with Arbalet radar but it certainly did not lose in 20 counts, if those counts were not tailored, meaning were picked based on participant than on requirements of military.
IMO Mi-28 just like the mig-35 entered the competion prematurely.the mig-35 radar should be a very telling sign.
Berkut as you are here i might as well ask about any news on 6-2.
