MOSCOW, May 30. /ITAR-TASS/. A multipurpose Project 885 Yasen-class nuclear submarine which is planned to lay down in July will be named Krasnoyarsk, a source in the country’s defense and industrial complex told ITAR-TASS on Friday.

“A Yasen-class submarine which is planned to lay down at Sevmash shipyard on July 19 will be named Krasnoyarsk,” the source said.

This submarine will become fourth and at the same time second serial submarine which is being built under modernized project 885M

i have just taken a look at the SU35S booklet and you are right.The booklet states that ferry range is 4500km with 2 PTB-2000 external tanks.My 5000km claim was just a guess.Anyway as you said still impressive and unrivalled

imagine SU35S with EFT. It`s range could be around 5000km!!! 🙂
