The F-22, as the world’s premier air-superiority fighter, is a constant thorn-in-the-side of those Americans who advance the idea that the, shall we say, ‘art of flying’, is now irrelevant. After all, how do you venerate the F-22 on the one hand and deprecate several of the qualities that make it exceptional on the other? It’s a tricky balancing act, but the nature of the reasoning as in all cases motivated and directed to the pre-determined conclusion of ‘America, **** yeah’ is obvious to all but the most myopic observers.
Right on the money.Speed ,range,altitude ,agility,supercruise-not important.TVC is for airshows.Anyway the F-22 will take care of opponents equipped with those not so important capabilties so we are told.Also don`t forget America and allies have God given monopoly on GaS /GaN tech, sensor fusion and tactics so the F-22 might not be needed at all to blast the T-50/J-20/SU35S out of the skies so we are remainded
