the news from sources below says:
12 + 5 + 3 = 20
Yes, I read that. And my source says 14 (+5 +3 = 22). It even gives 12+2 tail numbers so it’s hardly a typo.
Jordan Buys 20 F-16 MLU from Holland, Belgium
12 Belgian AF F-16 MLU’s (specific types not designated).
12 F-16AM and 2 F-16BM, makes 14.

Wow, those online translators are awesome
Here’s a better view on the markings.
My bet would be Syria, Vietnam, Libya, Yemen or Ethiopia. Vietnam just does not fit tte color. Out. Same for Libya. Out. Yemeni L-39s also were rapaired at Odessa plant (like this one), but given sand/tan camo. Out. Eyhiopian are unlikely snce Ukrainians support their enemy, Eritrea. That would leave Syria.
I would agree about Syria, also because all the other countries you listed do not operate the ZA model, according to my data.
Hi,
Sorry, I don’t konw if post before? MiG-31 Kazakstan AF.
Yes, see post #1357 of this thread. By the way: does someone know the external differences between the MiG-31 and MiG-31B? I understand that Kazakhstan has both types in service.
Great a picture of the Angolan Dornier Do28B-1 R-614.
Yes, excellent find! AFAIK the type is also in Turkish service; pictures anyone?
And while we’re at the subject: I’m looking for an image of the MPA version of the Do 128 which is in service with the air arm of Cameroon. Cheers.
Nor is it 9-25, of course – it’s 9-61 and 9-67….
I have MiG-29 (9.61) as the index for the MiG-29UBM. My source for the MiG-29 (9.25) designator was this:
http://forum.airforce.ru/viewtopic.php?t=1388&sid=b25370e7e063412c81fb0f9eda50511a
The MiG-35 designation had been used and re-used. It was used for the export MiG-29ME (9-15)
Wasn’t that the MiG-33?
Urech’e, Belarus
Here are some images that a friend of mine made in Urech’e:
Hm, I always presumed that MiG-35 is the designator for the MiG-29M2 aka MiG-29MRCA once it is build in series, but now I understand they’re not identical?? Does someone have the bureau type designators for these models? MiG-29 (9.18) maybe??
Never mind, I found it myself in the meantime: it’s MiG-29 (9.25) for both the MiG-29M2 and MiG-35.
Thanks GarryB but that doesn’t really answer my question whether the MiG-29M2 and MiG-35 are different or not.
