Hm, I always presumed that MiG-35 is the designator for the MiG-29M2 aka MiG-29MRCA once it is build in series, but now I understand they’re not identical?? Does someone have the bureau type designators for these models? MiG-29 (9.18) maybe??
If i were a betting man, my money would go on that Sukhoi belonging to Abkhazia.
Like Fabe has said, the Star is the same as on that republics Albatrosses.
Actually, the only marking I could find for Abkhazia is this one:
On the other hand, several countries changed their markings in the course of time.
They are from other websites. The Kazakh MiG-31s you have posted as ‘not from the Internet’ were published on one Swedish website. I can remember them very well.
Here I was talking about the Su-25’s. And the well-published MiG-31 images on the webiste of the Swedish MoD are different; the ones I posted last (#1336) came from a friend of mine. Below are the Swedish pics again for those that haven’t seen them yet.
Edit: You’re right flex297: the first image, of the line-up, is also from the Swedish website. Only the image of Red 03 wasn’t published before.
Where did you find that picture? At the same page as the Georgian one?
What page? They’re not from other websites.
Could it be from Kazakhstan or Abkhazia? I think there was a picture of an Abkhazian L-39 with a faded star on it.
In fact, Kazakhstan was my first thought, but AFAIK they don’t have Su-25’s. Unless it’s a picture from the days when they still had some (???).
Just a few days ago, They seem to have lost one Mi-17V5 Hip carrying the casket of former GAF Air Marshall in the process of making a landing in the open outside the local police station in Adukro.
So, how many V-5’s are left now?
For no good reason, a few rather static images of Ghana AF Mil 17s and F-27.
Can someone ID the model of Mi-17? Is it a V-5?
P/s F-5T are 2-seat F-5Fs that the Sing AF upgraded to the F-5S standard.
That’s what I’ve read too. Some clarification would be welcome.
