More here, on airshows.co.uk:
Hm, I haven’t seen much about the KADEX-2012 defense exhibition in Astana, Kazakhstan in this forum. On scramble.nl however there is a very nice series of pictures of Kazakh combat aircraft and helos, including the MiG-27, MiG-29, MiG-31, Su-27, Mi-17V5, Mi-26 and EC145:

Confirmation on 2nd batch of 27 Mi-35s orders, in addition to the 1st batch of 22.
Wasn’t the VVS supposed to get 6 helos from the batch of 12 that was ordered by Brazil? Are they part of the first lot of 22? Or is it 22+27+6?
is it so clever to ramp up the production before the state trials are finnish?
I agree but isn’t this what they did with the Su-34? State trials finished only in September 2011 and by then the VVS had already 15 (?) in service.
I think I see a winch on the yellow bird, left of the open rear hatch.
The Russian Air Force will receive over 60 modernized MiG-31 Foxhound interceptor aircraft by 2020, the Defense Ministry said.
Any news about the 20 or so upgrades that were ordered/planned by Kazakhstan?
Some pictures of armed Su-33s which apparently is a rare sight, according to a discussion on Militaryphotos.net.
Yes you can indeed, well spotted!:o So the licence production that was planned from 2010 has been delayed it seems.
Are these already the licence models KH 145, or were they delivered by Eurocopter?
Thanks for the info! So these birds are not in Russia, nor in Belarus? Unless the Google Earth pictures were made a couple of years ago.
Belarus may buy outdated Su-30K fighters from Russia
The sides found a compromise – the first 18 fighter jets were delivered in downgraded version, Su-30K, on condition that they would be returned to Russia after being replaced with Su-30MKI.
According to Kommersant, the aircraft were formally returned to Russia’s Irkut aircraft corporation, but never touched the Russian soil and ended up in Belarus.
Didn’t the IAF get only 8, not 18, Su-30K? And weren’t all Su-30K, MK-1 and MK-2 upgraded to MK-I?
More pictures from Ashgabat (posted on Flickr by Kerri-Jo). One of the 5 AW139s appears to be used as VIP helo. I also spot an A109. Other displayed helos are three EC145s (KH145?) and an AS365 (Z-9?).
According to Finmeccanica, Turkmenistan ordered 5 AW139 and 2 AW101 in 3Q 2010. They are however listed under “Civil-Gov” orders.
Picture from yesterday’s Independence Day parade in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. Are those helos AW139s?
“Until 2020 Russian Helicopters will supply the Defense Ministry with 140 helicopters worth at least 120 billion rubles [$4 billion].”
From what I understand, the majority will be Ka-52 but every news site says something else.
