Nope, they will raise her on Wensday ๐ There are a lot of these planes in norwegian fjords and lakes.
Did the Catalina not have its wings cut of to fit into the museum at Bodรธ? I have heard this, and because of that it will never fly again. ๐ก
Here is one that my local flying club used from 1954 to 1959. LN-BDM De Havilland Tiger Moth DH82A built in 1942.

The A-26 is still fully airworthy, seen it last in the sky in may.
Would have been cool to buy an old airliner and use it as an house ๐
That is the French Morane fighter, not the Suprise.
I hope the suprice will be a german fighter like Me 262 ๐ But most likley it will be the Zero.
I am looking forward to getting to Duxford tomorow, new digital SLR and a bunch of memery cards 6 gb’s ๐ (of course I have my laptop, since 6 gb’s wont last the hole day) Last year I took 3000 pictures on Saterday alone.
See you all there :p
Will arrive at Cambridge at noon on Friday, will fly from Torp to Stanstead. Will stay here until Monday morning ๐
Good to see it recoverd. I hate that planes is left to disepeer. But where is Oro Province?
Pictures of the Spit and Mustang is from 1990 Airshow at Gardemoen, I cant remember who flew the Spit. Only that it was Mark Hanh that took the Hispano 109 up. Got a few pics that I found last week from that airshow, will scan the Positiv pictures to digital at work tomorow.
Hi,
Didn’t the RAF use He115’s from Malta for dopping off agents? Can’t remember if these were German of Norwegian examples though.
Alex
They where ex Norwegian Marine, belive 2 or 3 models flew to England after Norway was invaded. The germans took 1 or 2 and put them to use. All the planes was shoot down or crashed during the war. I know I have a picture of oine of them somwhere, will try to post it.
