I like the Oscar but no way I would pay 1,6 mil. Would go for the same combo that texantomcat wrote.

But the Bf 109 F4 looks intresting, it served in Norway. Cant wait to see this one in the air again.

    Race For The Yankee Zephyr?

That’s a Kiwi film starring Donald Pleasance and some yanks in a race to find the wreck of a C-47 crashed in a lake in NZ, full of gold.

Thats the one, remembered it had Zephyr in it. Thanks Dave.

I personly hope that the Norwegian goverment buys either the Gripen or Eurofighter, but the Gripen is all that we need. We dont need the best of the best, just a plane that can defend our contry and be on NATO missions.

All of our F-16 are being refurbished to new standard, the F-5s are slowly beeing put out of service. And one thing that is important is that the new fighter is not too big. Becouse of uor airshelters at all military bases in Norway are small. When i served in the Air Force here in Norway, Americans and other NATO peronel where asstonsished when they saw our small shelters. Its fits an F-16 and that is it.

But with the goverment here in Norway, we will not buy any fighters for a long time. They dont want to spend mony on things like that, just look at our C-130s that should have been scarped 10 years ago. They still alomst fly.

The only sad part about the Gripen is that its Swedish 😉

Hi, all. G-DHZZ will be going to Norway in a few weeks. Next week it will have a check up by the FAA, its was bought by a pilot here in Norway. It will be based at Sandefjord Torp Airport, in the hangar with Dakota of Norway.

Will post some pictures of it when it arrives, will be doing a air to air sortie some time in the spring for a photoshute.
