Softcore.
When I was studying my degree I spent my whole third year going to bed at 5 in the morning.
Lets see…playing Cyberpunk, Ravenloft, clubs, band practice etc etc. I also woke up at 2 in the afternoon everyday, heh heh.
And yes I did get my degree.
I went to one of their concerts recently, but that’s all I’ve seen, I’m not a fan of their videos.

Yeah Robert Bakker is good, I’ve read quite a bit about him. He’s the guy who made a name for himself without having a Phd in the first place as I recall, interesting story how he got to where he is, I admire his style. Jurassic Park was great. So were the V-raptors in it.
I must admit I don’t have a favourite dinosaur, ‘cept of course the V-raptor, which is the moniker I’d stick on the side of my jet if I were fighter pilot. Deinonychus is pretty good, it had opposable claws which meant it could manipulate things it grabbed or tore, a major advance in the arms race back then.
I used to live in a place where you could find these kinds of things, I used to find bones when I went hiking and so forth, even in the garden as well.
What I like the most about the Chinese dinos, is that they clearly demonstrate evolution of feather and flying, which is, from a scientific point of view, quite a revolutionary discovery.
I like pure science in general, astronomy is also a favourite of mine as well.

Dalwhinie does it for me.
I must admit that I like Jack as well.

Georgie Gallaway deserves to have his balls removed if the allegations against him are true. If all British MP’s were like him, there would be no British forces in Iraq right now.
One wonders how many French or German politicians got paid.

What a coincidence, someone took this last night.

I’m not suprised Apocalypse Now used parts of Micheal Herr’s experiences. Great movie.
The movie’s storyline itself was based directly on a book by Joseph Conrad called Heart of Darkness.

Good question about the uppers and downers Kev, I’m glad you’ve read Dispatches, its the best description of real war I’ve ever come across.
I don’t know whether the guys on M1 were hopped up or hitting a downer, its quite possible…I got hopped up once or twice and felt paranoid for three days afterwards, just as well no one tried to kill me at the time, I could have committed unspeakable acts, but that’s just me.
I don’t think a US tank commander would have knowingly blasted journalists. The difference between journalists and soldiers is that soldiers are supposed to be shot at, and they’re supposed to shoot back as well.
