“The truth in war is the property of the victors.” – Winston Churchill

Hand: You missed my use of the [?] at end of the word Military Intelligence. We who use the english language make extensive use of the power of irony to say things without using long explanations.

Ok the CIA does have a lot to answer for here, especially with the strategic intel as you pointed out.

Now I’m not a big fan of Russian systems, but if the US could replace the CIA with the KGB, I suspected they would not have quite the same problem.

Master of Puppets is a good cd.

Talking about the Russians, there was an incident during the cold war when US and Russian ships were shadowing each other at close quarters. The Americans decided to have a go a the Russians by frying steaks on their helicopter deck, knowing the Russians didn’t have good food on board. The Russians retaliated in kind by bringing up crates of vodka on their helicopter deck and proceeded to have a good time knowing the American ship was dry.

I’ve tried the “Durban” curry in the shops here, its ok. That Nandos is good with chicken, I used to order xtra hot once, although I’ve calmed down a bit now. Best Peri Peri I’ve had was in Mozambique.

The great thing about the UK is all the curry shops. Really hot curry is great!! Like spiritual, man.
The place where I come from, ie Durban, South Africa, has a large Indian population and there’s lots of south Indian food around, but it very different to the curry in the UK.

    .
May I suggest that this failure to understand is partly due to a lifetime of influence by western media rather than a rational attempt to comprehend what I’m trying to get across?

I might suggest INK, if I directed this question of yours at you and replaced the word ‘western’ with ‘serbian’, would it make sense to you?

I admit freely that I am heavily influenced by the western media by choice, this website is part of the ‘western media’. I’m not sure what it would be like if I was influenced Serbian media.

Prehaps, INK you being an en expert on the subject of both the western and Serbian media, you might be able to answer this question better than myself??

    MONGU AND DHFAN-
No freedom of information in Britain? What exactly do you mean good sirs when you make this statement? The concept of freedom of information is not an absolute one. By this I mean we can’t really allow people to sell child porn or incite hatered against others, there are limits to this so called concept of freedom. If you want to see a real lack of freedom of information go to Iran or North Korea, even China.
