    Hi B Knowles, well we did the fuselage at Airframe Assemblies about 3yrs ago and as far as i know is still being fitted out. As for the wings they are being put together by Hull aviation. Dont know much more than this. Best person to talk to would be John Hart at Rolls Royce who is in charge of the project.

    Hi Olli , yes Hendon do hold T9 drawings,but they would probably charge you for them. You could try Bruce at Classic Aero at Thruxton as they are finishing a T9 at the moment. Whether they would oblige im not sure but worth a try.

    Hi Tom W, have you got any evidence of a tail parachute mount in AR213. Would be intresting to know just how many MK1’s were fitted with this.

    Hi all, my DVD’s arrived today. Looks like good viewing with exellent flying scenes. Well with the pilots employed im not surprized!!!!!

    Hi Qldspitty, drawing i quoted – 30027 sht 79-is for reinforcing at fr18/fr18A, i just cant see how chute was fitted or deployed. The top longeron is cut fwd of fr18 & aft of fr18A & 2 angles positioned there instead of longeron. There are doublers & other brks in there to.

    Hi DCK , when i get the chance i’ll post pickys of the fuselage build. Bit of a contencious subject this ! When is a restoration a new build ! Anyway we will be using as much of the origional structure as possible & it will have bits in that no other MK1 has at the moment!

    Hi Olli, thanks for that ,but some how doesnt seem to be right. The mount is in the fuselage between fr18 & fr18A. Cant see how chute was deployed,?was there a hole in the skin?

    Hi aeronut, nothing like it, sorry, this fits between fr18 & fr18A by the top longeron on the port side of aircraft.

    Hi,I recently ordered dvd set of “A piece of cake” but was told by the company i ordered from that it is no longer available ! Does anyone have any ideas where i could get it, thanks.
