Wasn’t the F-4 designed as an air superiority fighter to begin with? (ala USN?)

Gotta admit, I love the F-106 myself (one of my fav USAF types), but the F-4 did a fine job, not sure the F-106 would have been better. How was the AIM-4 in combat? Lotsa ‘ifs’……..

    I wouldn’t build one myself, as I can’t stand the F-18, and wouldn’t want the hassle.:D

Didn’t the Vichy also fly some P-36s against the Torch landing, too?:D

    Thanks!
I have a Lego F-8u I have been working on with working VI wing, but we won’t talk about that………….http://www.worlds-worst-website.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/banghead.gif

Also pics of the M-551 I built on that page. Awful tank, but I always liked the look. (and the 152mm main gun!)

    One of my favorite aircraft!

Here’s a model of one I built for my son out of Legos.

History Channel showed them firing on Modern Marvels last week.

They would be decent for anti-missle work, ala CIWS. I wonder if they’ve thought of trying them on MBTs against ATGMs.

And hopefully the C-5s and C-17s will have some earthmoving equipment on them, as they will need that from the pics I have seen.

Interesting to see what the current high bidder has bought recently on Ebay – a pair of walkie-talkies and a Swiss army knife:confused:

Seems to have disappeared now – hoax?:D

I saw that, too. I don’t think any of the bidders were for real, so they may have pulled it in frustration. Hate to see THAT listing fee……………………..
