    Great report there

bmi really have an excellent product on their l/h sectors, shame that this is the 1st year since 2005 I won’t be going long haul with them!

wow and i thought the new HYD airport here was having problems. 😮

    That’s problem-free, as pilots can’t find it 😀

Ah typical Britain, looks good, but never works!

Teething troubles aside, they’ve been testing this thing for a good 6 months now, why didn’t they overload the system months before today to see how it would cope?? A few measly bags during the testing phase wasn’t really going to push this “revolutionary” baggage system to its limit wasn’t it now!?

And with the I.D fiasco that rose last night, this hasn’t been the historic day BAA and BA were hoping for, in fact, there’s plenty of egg all round to go on a few faces!!

Wonder how BA’s competitors have greeted today’s Dennis Norden style ****-up!

And on the note of “British : Looks good but never works”, British Leyland are another example. I love looking at their designs, but I would have never bought one, Top Gear has influenced my decision there 😀

I won’t be flying out of it until August, but i’m going to London next week with a beloved Virgin Pendolino, and i’m planning a visit to T5, and to see the SIA A380 before heading home.

Can you spot the ‘mini wind farm’ that has been installed at the airport…? 😉 😎

    Top of T2 on 4th shot 😉

Nice shots Paul, to think of the weather!

All he was doing was talking tho, he wasn’t threatning anyone.

Yes, but during a saftey demonstation, when everybody else should be listening? Everybody should devote their full attention to it always!

It would help if maybe ringwayreports website put a/c type on charters rather than just scheduled.

Yes but charter aircraft allocation can change, depending on demand.

And before anyone has a go at me im just wanting a very simple question answered if your going to have a go don’t bother

I am going to have a go, as you are simply downright rude!

Now, why don’t you follow cheesebag’s example in his thread, where I see both “please” and “cheers” in the thread. People would be happy to help you, if you showed some courtesy to the rest of us.

I think this is an awful way to treat a passenger.

No its not! He was disrupting a critical element of the journey. His statements on the BBC Site are pathetic, and he is trying to act like he’s the king of the castle, which he is certainly is not!

Watching his reaction and tone of voice on the video, really has infurriated me. His attitude is typical of many who want to be regarded as very important. Why do titles such as “Dr” make some, not all think they are better than others.

Ryanair, don’t apologise, let this apparent “VIP” say sorry to you!

I don’t think throwing him off was the best option, but the saftey demonstration is there for a reason, and if you don’t want to listen to it, then don’t interrup it!

The crew had a perfect right to tell him to shut up, and the “Doctor” didn’t help the situation by commenting in such a way that he has made the situation himself. Arrogant is a word that comes to mind!

I always take info from Wiki with a large pinch of salt, anybody can write anything they want on there.
