some time you expect some things to be done and completed then suddenly you are suprised that work was not carried out at all ,only 10 Jaguar IM are there and radars were brought in 1996 and even in 2008 upgrades were never carried out something similar is going with naval Sea harriers

DARIN-II upgrade: HAL Research and Design Centre began study for upgrades to the Indian Jaguar fleet in 1998 and contracts were then placed with Elta and Sextant for the modernisation of the Indian Jaguar IS fleet. Known as DARIN-II, the upgrade is split into phases, the first covering avionics upgrades and the second and third covering structural modifications and FADEC controls for the Adour Mk 811 engines respectively. New production batches of 17 new Jaguar IB (JT-077 to JT-082) have already been built from new to the new upgrade standard and have entered service with No 6 Squadron of the IAF. The first aircraft began arriving at Ambala in 2004 and further two upgrade prototypes flying in early 2005 after completion of upgrade work by HAL. The upgraded two seat IB variant carries the same internal fuel as the single-seat version but the guns are removed. The 40 new single-seaters being built by HAL are also being completed to DARIN II standard, following which the remainder of the existing fleet with Marconi Navigation and Weapon-Aiming Sub System (NAVWASS) (JS-101 to JS-135) will be upgraded. The easiest way to tell a DARIN-II Jaguar is by the new Tarang RWR cavity-backed spiral antenna instead of the flat plate of the previous RWR on the fin. Entire fleet of 90 aircraft could be operational in upgraded configuration by 2015. Jaguar IM upgrade: Elta was signed in 1996 to upgrade the Maritime version (IM) with its EL/M-2032 multimode fire-control radar, with 10 sets

other link confirming that upgrades never took place

In 1996, a contract was signed with Elta to upgrade the maritime attack variant with the EL/M-2032 multimode fire control radar. Ten EL/M-2032 radars are to be supplied. The IM aircraft will also be installed with integrated electronic warfare pods. Although Bharat Rakshak had earlier reported that the Jaguar IMs were all upgraded with the EL/M-2032 radar and with integrated electronic warfare pods, it appears that this has not been done. We regret the error, if incorrect. Apparently before the IM upgrade could begin, the ‘Main Force’ upgrade was finally commissioned and this has apparently caused the delay.

New countries who are interested in going for Sukhoi mkk variants may might go for Su-35 , but i donot think current customers of mkk/mki variant will show much interest in them ,how much does it cost ? compared to a MKK/MKI variant
