i have talked to many people to maintain the accuracy of the site ,many members her in the forum have given or corrected me from time to time ,i donot require your stamp of approval to judge the accuracy of my site
what about vayuaerospace magazine ?? does that match your expectation or even that falls short to match your bench mark ???
Buraidiah i have said that Placard confirms what i have said ,i never said that was my only source i have spoken with LRU engineers working in ADA on Tejas ,neither me or chacko are talking trash here ,i have never claimed any thing out of hat in the site ,what information do you have to support you claims ?? same old reports from media , i have also read the same Mach 1.6 in old vayuaerospace magazine ,this magazine has much credibility then Indian media ,you prove me wrong using a credible source
even navy is worried about the engine ,with current ge engine and proposed upgraded Ge engine ,Naval Tejas will lack to take off from AC ,it will require more power full engine in near future soon rather then later ,and it is best time to check for new engine now rather then when 40+ Aircrafts have been produced
Boeing has been brought to advance the flight tests of LSP and to cover the all the aspect as soon as possible ,i am trying to digg more on engine issue but every one seems to be silent in ada this days
Abhimanyu thanks for the placard it then confirms that Mach 1.6 has been achieved in Pv-2 ,while details of PV-3 and LSP-1 is not mentioned or available in public domain ,India media have used the same data from 2004/05 even in recent articles ,achievement of 6G has been also mentioned in Frontier India article and i know mr chacko personally (Admin of Frontier India) and he has very good sources in ada from time to time as provided quality information and pictures on tejas ,as per my source delay in LSP-2,LSP-3 and PV-5 taking to air is th engine issue
taking Tejas to an altitude of 15 kilometres has been accomplished , 20 degrees AOA was accomplished in 2006 (correct me if i am wrong),6G in 2007 from targeted 9G ,Mach 1.6 out of Mach 1.8
reports of whatTejas achieved till date is still debatable as after 2004/5 very little information as been published or talked about ,Pv-2 as set to have achived 1.6 Mach and pulled 6gs compared to 1.4mach and 4.5g published in earlier reports of 2004/5 here is the link which was published in jan 2007 which claims that PV-2 pulled 6gs ,while my own sources have told me that 1.6 Mach as been achived and test on mach 1.8 might have been carried out or will be carried out

i think in early 1990’s even india (some people in mod) had suggested to take help from china for mig spares after soviet collapse
in less then two months ???? i think it was technical snag ,both the pilots are safe ,some rumurs says that poor rusty spares were shipped to india ,let wait for further report
is pakfa now Indo-Russian-Brazilian concept now ???
i think we had an option of 3 more in earlier contract ,it seems to be marginal increase in current price from the previous contract
victor you are spot on, in the first picture it self you can see majority of the avionics is actually located behind the cockpit ,there seems to be another two more in take just away from the second engineer who is working near the cockpit area
it been seen in PV-2/3 and LSP-1 and it has been seen in LSp-2 also
but it is missing in TD-1/2 and PV-1
here it in LSP-2
