even i feel that navy should get 30 to 40 mki of there own let iaf have all 190 mki for them self then you see naval mki will be more deadly then iaf’s mki
he is right russian aesa is still in test bed we have to wait and watch for now
navy will also have some su 30 mki i had a chat with harrier pilots in goa some time ago and they said in future few mki will be shifted to navy but other thing they told me was that airforce is not infavour of navy getting more fighter planes they think they can do the job but navy is still pushing for advanced fighters they are commited to n-lca has they want more fighters and mig 29k will coming to the my place in 2007 i mean goa right ,they is good enough chance of naval variant of mca in future
bring_it_on i am also concerend with n-lca but may be it will be uses only for defensive purpose and mig -29k may perform interception and attack roles and n-lca may be used against enemies naval vessels hey stealth spy is there any propsed naval version of mca also ????
i donot think that mca will be ready by 2012 or 2014 has claimed by ada and hal other wise mca may turn out to be a double engined lca with streched wing and better avionics
best thing can happen to mca is that french are roped into the project and lot of the workload will be cut outed goverment knows that ada donot have the resources to bring out a mca in time foreign help will be used some one had posted some mca cad images i thing here will search them
nlca will take to air in 2009 and around 40-60 will be inducted and harldly anything about mca comes out in indian press it may be still in drawing boards and may only fly in 2017 or some where around
lch has gone thru redesign first it was having a standard dhruv chassic but slim down version but later i donot why they have changed the design i donot know how it looks now does any one have any idea ??
