Hi coldfire, do you have any pics, or infos from MBDA, or Safran? Both were said to be at Aero India and both should offer weapons for fighter upgrades, but couldn’t find a single pic, or info from them.
I could only find three pictures from the Safran stall which i have uploaded in the blog
Thanks guys , i have uploaded some more scan copies of Product Catalog which i picked up that induces Tejas MK-2 and AMCA

My collection of pictures taken from Aero India 2011 , more will be up in next few days ,
Will be covering Aero India this times expect pictures and some articles from me
MMRCA aircraft even if it is F-16 will not have much impact on IAF since major chunk of MMRCA aircraft will be based in North East and Forward bases of Eastern Sector (Kolkata) which will also have MKI. Recent Articles and air force officials have made it clear that MMRCA winner will be based in Eastern sector , other aircraft’s like Tejas ,Mig-29,M2k ,MKI will defend Western Sector .
retractable refueling probe will be only be added to Tejas Mk-2 , Tejas Mk-1 will get Refueling probe very similar to older Jaguars which is non-Retractable , 2012 is the period Tejas Mk-1 will have them while Tejas Mk-2 will have them from first aircraft in 2014-15.
Any info about the internal bay Super 30 picture we had seen some time ago , will it get some of that upgrade to ?????
This why Gripen NG and Mig-35 might not be preferred by IAF since it might not be able to hit production in time and deliver this aircrafts in time
Kaveri engine on path to become flight worthy
I think it will be wise even for India to have Israel has the partner in AMCA project from the start so that things go smoothly this time , Tejas Project has given India much needed expertise in aviation .
GTRE should get a rival PSU to take them up even if its a jv between public private sector should be put into place to develop engines India cannot be depended only on GTRE for every thing
Its end of 2010 or early 2011 , but GTRE is more famous then DRDO to miss targets by miles , even i hope they deliver what they have promised at-least this time
A project to install the Kaveri in the LCA and to have it completed by end 2009 was announced ?2008? I guess the project was halted. I have heard no news of this project being completed.
as per revised plans in June 2010 Kaveri will be integrated with Pv-1 (PV-1 has not been flying for a quite a time now ) and to be flown by end or early 2011
