I think the french have far more talent than the un-organised Saudi AirForce. Surely they have weapons, but not enough discipline to use them effectively.

Doesn’t matter what they buy ..

    [B]

Interestingly, several such structures are currently being incorporated into the IAF’s MiG-29B-12 airframes as well.

    .

Where can we find more on this…

Can I change the titile of the thread to reflect the new subject line ?

I would collate data about all new computing subsystems on all new fighters. Whether they are upgrades from 3rd gen to the extra expensive f-22.

Can admins rename this thread ?

    Thanks.

Now looking for data on Gripen/eurofighter/jsf/f-22/j-10.

    Cool, thanks for the links.

Hoping that this new acronym and google will help me locate what processors and how many mflops can it handle. I presume it is using powerpc vme boards.

Man its really huge inside . Congratulation for its owners!!!

On a 707 its huge.. lets see how it looks on those 1l-76’s.. I think Awacs should be on a large passenger plane… But electronics have gotten real nice and tight nowadays so maybe it won’t be that bad.

I think US needs to get its E2C replacement out soon.. Pretty outdated IMHO.

All by Andrei Fomin (not Formin!) …..

First book in Russian, published 1999, 272 pages, ISBN 5-93511-001-6
Second book in English, published 2000, 336 pages, ISBN 5-93511-003-2
Latest book in Russian, published 2004, 456 pages, ISBN 5-93511-008-3

These books are all the same btw – just translated in the second case, then udated (but not translated) in the last case.

    Ken

    Ken,

I have a copy of the 2000 translation. Its just that our man corbato is talking nonsense, so I asked him for copy of the 2002 english edition that he is talking about.

I don;t think he has any ISBN number to give…
