It’s very confusing. There must be several types as I’ve found a drawing with Hawker No. 4 (3/16″ high).
I may have to go that route.
“Hawker Size No. 8″ is .1” high
“Hawker Size No. 10 is .09” high
Keep this up and I might make my own listing.
Ron
Yes, that does help Ian. Thank you.
Any idea about Hawker size No. 4?

Hurricane Rudder Pedals
I’m looking for a set of Hurricane rudder pedals that I can “borrow” to use as a pattern for my cockpit project. Anything borrowed will be returned once the patterns are made. Or if you have drawings for Hurricane rudder pedals that would be even better.
Many thanks
Ron
I have also tested known CCF Mk X centre section spar remains which report manganese alloy (DTD 138) spar booms, obviously different to the British made aircraft using nickel chromium booms (S88c). Subject to confirmation, the theory is that CCF used local materials for Mk X that were different to materials used in the UK. The link to your question is whether a RCAF AP would specify DTD138 for centre section spar boom repairs, which would be delightful to confirm, or a later RAF AP covering Mk X would do the same.
Does this mean you’ve tested the piece of centre section spar that I sent to you?
Cheers,
Ron
I have a replica Spitfire or Hurricane brass gun button type spade grip for trade. Wanted in exchange Hurricane parts from cockpit area.

It is crudely made and the button does not function not as good as the ones you can get these days, maybe good for a temporary display until you can afford the real thing !
Thank you but I’m only interested in an original fire button or original parts. I have an electric button from a Typhoon I believe. But the grip is from a Canadian Hurricane and I’d like to restore it to it’s original state.
Ron
Looking for an original brass firing button with tubes for an AH2040 spade grip restoration, complete or parts. It will be used to complete a CCF made spade grip.
Many thanks
Punkah Louvres
I’m looking for a pair of Punkah Louvres for my Hurricane project. Can’t find them here in Canada. Looking for contact info of someone with a set.

B.120155 – Spool for Port F Joint
Thank you,

How many have signed up and….
How many projects have signed on and what do you think the cost will be for each project?
Thank you again 🙂
Cheers
Great picture, Cornovii! Thank you. What document is this page from?
Sorry I can’t help with size or type but would it be possible for you to take the one in the photo out and measure it up?
I tried but the valve won’t budge. 🙁
Anymore thoughts on the make and model of the valve now that I’ve posted a picture?
Thanks,
Ron
