Now that engine shot looks like a photo!!! Nice one T5 sir!
What about a Canon 350d? You can get one brand new for £450 odd…I would say you cant beat something like that and a decent lens as Sceptic suggested too.
As someone else mentioned – it’s always good to see new airline shots on here – there cant be many of a Copa Airlines 73 can there? Nice one….
Ahhhh..gone are the days of shots like these from the crossing…. 😡
I’m with OneLeft on this – it does look a bit ebayish to me too!!! And that 2nd photo is no a346! 😀
Ok chaps – i should get my flights confirmed before Thurs, but it’s looking like next week now.
I usually dive out of the office (Melville St in town), cab it to the airport, drop off my bags and then run (not literally!) round to Ingliston Mkt and head for the fence…
I will try and catch a later flight back down to STN and be @ the airport from early afternoon for the duration. Unf. all of this depends on the new kit we have ordered for our EDI office and when it gets delivered….
I will though, give as much notice as possible to you all though…
btw Bmused – where are you then at 12 miles north of EDI ?
Cheers
That’s always a great pitstop whilst at LHR…. pricey lagers but hey!!
Isn’t it slightly ironic that the poll for this topic thread has already turned into another massive debate on this? hoho!
It has been in a state of redevelopment for a few months now… 🙁
I take that back!!
Dean – u sure about flaps 40 on a 737? I thought they never really deployed them to that extent?
Some of the better payware addons for flightsim have these – have you got any of them per chance? that might be a start point….
Or something like this…
Ladies & Gentlemen,
May we have your special attention for the following safety instructions:
Please make sure that your handluggage is securely stowed under the seat in front of you or in the overhead bin.
This aircraft has 8 emergency exits, all marked with “EXIT”-signs: 2 in the front, 4 in the cabin area, 2 in the rear.
Emergency lights on the floor show you the way to the emergency exits. Fasten your seatbelt whenever the “Fasten seatbelt” -sign is on. The belt can be opened easily whenever necessary. For safety reasons we advice you to keep your seatbelt fastened while seated.
In case of loss of cabin pressure, oxygen masks will be automatically released above your seats. Pull down the nearest mask, place it over mouth and nose and secure it with the elastic band.
Passenger Life Vest Briefing
Your life vest is located under your seat. In the event of a water landing, place the life vest over your head, fasten the straps at the front of the vest and pull them tight. Do not inflate the vest inside the aircraft. As you leave the aircraft, pull down the red tabs to inflate the vest. If necessary the life vest can be inflated by blowing through these tubes.
You can also never escape the EK777s huh? They seem to go EVERYWHERE !
