I got a copy of FS2004 directly from Microsoft about 6 weeks before it was launched for review purposes – fingers crossed this will happen again next time around, but I would wait to see what hardware it demands before buying it….
To put this into perspective, I installed the latest version of Longhorn onto one of my PCs at home at the weekend, and it basically laughed at 1Gb of RAM !!!! I put another Gb in and then it worked fine…..now if that it the next OS, dare we think about the demands FS2006 might need? Scary!!! (of course, MS will tell us it will run on a P3 700 with 128Mb RAM!!! LOL!)
