It also appears on G-INFO that TFC’s Sea Fury T.20 has a permit to fly!
Another update from “Flying Legends facebook page”
Not much Warbird activity in the skies. ARCo’s two-seat Spit has been up and TFC Spitfire EP120 has been out for local flights.
Relatively more activity on the ground with TFC’s Nimrod, Gladiator and Bearcat joining the Mustangs and Spit I’s on the live side of the airfield….

Another update from “Flying Legends Facebook page”
A fair bit of activity still, considering it is the early part if the week, with practice displays from the P-40F and a duo display from P-51’s “Miss Velma” & “Princess Elizabeth”; as well as a solo Spitfire display from the legendary Steve Hinton
Two Updates from Duxford today from the “Flying Legends facebook page”
First
We’re on site at Duxford IWM and the sun is shining, the temperature is high, and there are Warbirds about!
No flying yet but the open doors are letting the sunlight into the hangars making for some great photo opportunities. Check in with us tonight to see them!
Engineers are hard at work prepping for the show. Plenty of activity seen on Spitfire MH434, Spitfire EP120, Hawk 75 and P-40B.
No arrivals to speak of as yet but it’s very early days! More updates later…
Second:
BIT OF ACTIVITY…
Spitfire TA805 has arrived from Biggin Hill, Spitfire MH434 has had a practice display and The Fighter Collection have moved two Mk.I Spitfires onto the live side. So many Spitfires in true Duxford style!
Also in the airspace a Yak 3 has had a practice display. Oh and it’s hot, very hot
Spitfire TA805 is due into Duxford this afternoon. Take off at Biggin Hill 12:30 aprox https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=426219644152448&set=a.195529970554751.41221.189029544538127&type=1&theater
Nice Pictures DCW and Duxman. Shame the Corsair won’t make legends š
New Spitfire XIX incident video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81HHZF5wJng Shows the retrieval of one of the blades and aircraft appears to be taxiing back alright.
In fact we could nominate Stephen for knighthood: https://www.gov.uk/honours/nominate-someone-in-the-uk !
Thanks Stephen, your a real inspiration to current and future pilots and your displays are second to none. Thank You.
I’m going on the Saturday so i will see his penultimate “Joker” routine. I’m sure he will get a big round of applause as he taxies the ‘Bear’ the crowd at the end during both days. Thank you Mr. Grey.

Shame the wingtips don’t blend in with the camouflage of the aircraft.
