so when is the catilina nent to have here nose art placed back on again?
Anyone remember the Seafire takeoff at Flying Legends 2010: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQUHyYOOFtA
It’s a shame it’s going to loose that paint scheme. it’s really unusual and eye catching.:) Have the others commenced painting yet?
It sure does look stunning. I saw the engine cowls being attached yesterday while i walked through H5. I also saw that both engine props are ready for assembly on the prop mountings. It appears to be water-tight so it should brave any weather IMO!
I would have thought it will be at some of the Duxford Shows this year as it is based their.
Actually the Sea Fury t.20 is G-RNHF not G-FNHT.
I really want to see TFC’s Gladiator fly. I missed the Legends show when it took it’s firt flight so I have never seen it fly before. Hopefully this will be the year!
Why has the buchon has got G-BWUE’s Spinner
When ever I see Stephen Grey flying his ‘Joker’ routine at the end of Flying Legends I always think of Howard!
I’m just saying that not because I favor one aircraft over another it’s because the Wirlwind project seems a more stable company while the Mossquito project has only just been formed. Furthermore they have given us a lack of information about their company and what the restoration involves. To sum up they just seem a bit unstable.
I would rather donate to this group rather than the ‘Peoples Mosquito’ project.
Anyone know the flight timetable for tomorrow?
So what is that a picture of then?
It looks genuine due to the anteni on top of the vertical stabilizer which most RC models dont have. if it indeed fake then thats my day ruined 🙁
If it is indeed flying and going on a small tour of europe it would be great to see it in a tailchase with TFC’s P-40B.
