As far as i know there are hundreds of Us registered aircraft flying in Europe. I think it comes down to the owner of that aircraft has to either be American or you have to have permision from the FAA and CAA for the aircraft to fly. A good warbird example of this is TFC’s TF-51 ‘Miss Velma’ which flies on the US reg N251RJ.

Nice pics their DCW. I can’t wait to see it with my own eyes when i next go to Duxford presumably for Legends 2012. Hopefully they will bring it out into the open during some of the Duxford airshows this year.
