Not without a reportable Chinese purchase of such.
What about the purchase of X-55 from Ukraine? 😎
Do You want to say, that this is the same type of hangar as on Krivak 3 and Udaloy? :confused:
Hangar on 11351
This is the newest system Russians have – UDAV-1. It’s more anti-torp, as it has range of only 3000 m, using two types of grenades – acoustic decoy and barrage grenade.
2nd Kilo for China will be handed over on 5 May. Third is undergoing trials, fourth will be launched in May, fifth in July.
Periscopic=Semi-submerged?
600 sq. m damaged on second deck, mainly cables and equipment, possibly some distortion of near bulkheads and plating. Nothing definite, investigation is carried out :diablo:
What’s said in Chinese on the first picture – that it’s 115 and portion of 116 beside it?????

It’s possible, that new boilers will be produced and original turbines will be repaired.
Sovremenny has a “telescopic” hangar, which is folded out when she carries a bird. It doesn’t mean, that You have to land on top of that structure, I think it will topple down 😮 perhaps You were thinking about an elevator like on Kirov or semi-submerged hangars also with elevator like on Kara? :confused:
Gas turbine production was based mainly in Ukraine in SU time, Ukraine still has it. This was perhaps the most important reason why Russia was not able to go on with building Slava, Udaloy and Neustrashimy classes. Talwars built for India also have powerplants made by Ukranian “Zarya”. In contrast, boiler and steam turbine building is concentrated in St.Peterburg and one of reasons why Sovremennys were fitted with boilers was to maintain the production ability and technology.
Capitally repaired original powerplant.
Naval counterpart for S-125 = SA-N-1 (Russian designation M-1 Volna). In fact, missile designed for naval use (B-600) proved to be more succesful and was adopted also for S-125 instead of the original B-625.
Perhaps you meant S-200 which really doesn’t have a naval version.
If that’s a heli hangar, it’s mighty strange one, You have to land on top of it, perhaps, to get inside :diablo:
Regarding the possible location of Tombstone FCR, I imagine it should be placed out of the missile launch paths, forward of the launch silos, not aft of them. Also I thought that Tombstone was not so much smaller compared to Top Dome. :confused:
