    Well I was generally referring to public displays rather than the private ones, but yes, its listed as displaying there.

    I guess there’s nothing really to stop anyone standing outside and watching if they wished.

    Other than the Navy100 flypasts, I think next full displays for the Sea Vixen are at RNAS Culdrose on the 29th July and then a couple of displays at the B/mth Air Festival between the 20-23rd Aug.

    Luckily for me the Sea Vixen is one aircraft I see flying quite regularly, and she did look quite magnificent in her navy colours displaying over the sea at B/mth last year.:D

    Kevin Rumens, I understand that you were the captain of 558 for Sundays display at RIAT…. Well, can I just say a big THANK YOU. I’ve been waiting to see a ‘proper’ Vulcan display since she returned to the skies, and that Take Off on Sunday was exactly what I was waiting for. Thanks.

    It was awesome.

    I wasn’t there, but have seen the footage. And yes, awesome!

    Don’t think I’d have wanted to be the bloke in the back though.:eek:

    With regards to the Sea Vixen not displaying at RIAT, the DHA website has for some time stated that it was down to a lack of available funds.

    Unfortunately RIAT couldn’t afford the display fees.

    A shame really as the Sea Vixen puts on a pretty good show and was one of the few aircraft that got airborne and displayed at the previous weeks Yeovilton clag fest.
