Maybe:
a hanger for MH-60
a VLS mounted in the aft section of the hanger complex
a 76mm next to structure also along side this would be a 40mm chaingun

They gave me a picture of a A-9 and expected us to put A-10 :confused:
the other one was a picture of a Electra and the expected us to put P-3

I have just been on the Airbus Military site and there could be the option of A-319 MPA, which has everything the P-8 has. We could go for this, mabey get the French and Germans onside (Mainly the French due to th fact they need replacing but the German P-3s must be getting old)

Other partners may be out there (can think of any off the top of my head)

Yes I am ATC, 785 can’t go that often at the mo because of school work

The other thing with the CN-235 is that it could be taylored to our needs. We could mount palatised Searchwater and other UK items.

If it happened we would be talking about something like CN-235MP/MPA.

As for the FAA operating them rather then the RAF it makes sense, frankly the RAF operation of MPA types is one of those historic hangovers from WW2 with RAF Coastal command.

I actually intentionally left the mast and weapons in light gray since that makes the mods pop out a bit more. As for the mast shape, not sure what alternative one has? It probably just looks strange because I drew it too smooth – in real life there would be a bunch of small antennas.

Yes but you have built the ship to SB standards and are there for required to stick to them

Land/Surface Attack:

AA defense:
32x ESSM radar-guided
11x RAM IR-guided
1x 76mm OTO-Melara gun with Davide guided ammo

ASW: 6x Torpedoes

Electronics:
CEAFAR X-band radar for medium range 3D search & tracking
CEAMOUNT IWI guidance antennas
Sea Giraffe radar for close-in 3D search & tracking

P.S. Apologies for the RAN Kangaroo markings. I was a bit lazy to change some of the details!

You need to colour the masts and weapons to the same colour as the hull, but I don’t like that mast it seems totally wrong.

A naval typhoon may not always use a centerline tank and also remember before the a/c moves it will have been held in place by mechanical chocks that stop it moving until it has developed full power.

Also if EF2000 wins MMRCA it has to be odds on fav to win the naval contract

My favorite what-if is if LCS hadn’t been compromised by the speed requirement. Same general tonnage, completely different capability set. Something akin to a pimped-up La Fayette frigate:

Personally I think that the aft VLS should be deleted and the forward VLS should give up 4 cells to MICA quad packed or use a Mark 56 vls extruding aft.
