I’m not sure what Mk it is but I was wondering if someone might have a cockpit picture of a Mossie with the gun nose?

    Thanks Gerry

    Sheesh, naiveity shines through….

    Thanks Eddie

I wasn’t aware that in the following marks of these aircraft they had in fact upgraded to the 50 cal but I guess my question was why weren’t they installed in the initial versions.

    Documentries…

I was channel surfing the other day and on the history channel was a show about Hornchurch and what 2 Gents were doing with the area. They were apparently looking for and then “digging up” “E” pens (I believe he called them) anyway they were revetments that 2 Spits were put in for rearming and refueling that also contained a protection bunker. I unfortunatly didn’t catch the whole thing and am hoping to see it again and was wondering if first, anyone knows about the show and second are there others.

    Thanks sincerely Gerry

    Excellent pictures

There are some excellent cockpit pictures here. That got me thinking that maybe some of you have excellent cockpit pictures of a B-25J cockpit or can get some for me that would help me in the restoration of the aircraft here in Edmonton. I’ve decided that the nose area will be the first part to be restored but am having difficulty finding good interior pics.

So if any of you can assist me that would be fantastic and thanks in advance.

    Sincerely Gerry Hagan

    Good morning Tony

I’ve often wondered (and maybe it was a production issue or a to early issue) but why is it that British Fighters and for that matter Bombers never used or were updated to the 50 Cal.

After reading your article it would appear that you’ve done some serious research on the subject, would installing 50 cals on fighters and bombers been considered an upgrade?

    Thanks Gerry Hagan

    and last but not least….

I’m assuming this is the aircraft that the parts are from that are somewhere in this area.

    Hornet Pics

I’ve been able to drum up some pictures of the sole Hornet that came to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada just after the war (as I understand) for some cold weather testing.
