Just to correct TAZZ on one of the projects I am working on right now:

Pakistan Mirage 5DPA2 was actually serial 79-306 and 79-307, the 79 representing the year they were precurred as… same with most Pakistani A/C. 😮

I would look at your source as some of the others look a little off. 😉

Now to my question. A Pakistani Mirage 5DPA2? was reported crashing on 3 May 2011 from Sarfraz Rafiqi Air Base, PAF Shorkot.

Technical problems leading to loss of control. Crashed at Muza Jannan in the desert area of Kot Shakir on routine rehearsal flight in the Jhang district of Punjab.

It seems that the pilot and instructor both ejected safely using their Martin-Baker PRM-6:diablo:

Can anyone tell me if the aircraft was completely destroyed and which serial it was?

Thanks. Any additional information would be great.

Technically this is wrong. 463 was a F-4 Phantom II with the Air Force but it wasn’t the B variant. It was a C variant. Given the picture and the options though (and the fact that it is an iphone app), the correct answer for the game is pretty easy.:D

I know Iran took control of most of the Iraqi Mirages. I am specifically interested in the EQ-2/4/6 right now. I am writing a paper and need sources, but any information is welcome. I know that Iran operates at least one EQ (I am assuming and EQ-6), and 3 BQs but what happened to all the other EQs?

They definitely were WFU. Scramble.nl had the BJ as active still but it was spotted quite a few years ago. I am just gonna take it that they did retire it as well. I know they were trying to sell their F1’s to Argentina which probably fell through. Any idea if they ever found a customer?

Technically it is not fair to put the F-35 against the PAK-FA in an Air to Air battle. They have two different missions and if they meet in the air then the strategic planners and commands are not doing their jobs properly.
