Big thank you from me too.

Certainly makes up for not being able to attend various events and brightens up numerous dull days at work!

Thanks for the info davski. Sounds like a good day out, I’ll probably be there Saturday.

Their web site gives some more details – http://www.realaero.com/show/show.html Doesn’t give a large amount of details but does mention the 109 so we could always hope. Anyone got of an update on its progress?

Looks like the BBMF will be there some time between 2:30 and 3:30 as the airfield will be closed to visiting aircraft because of them.

I was thinking about a visit on Saturday – 2 Mustangs may have persuaded me!!!

Wish I had that view as well! Thanks for the pictures – great show from the BBMF as always. Unfortunately I’m still in the dark ages and are away for developing.

Good to meet you again Ken, unfortunately the combination of Ken Ellis over the tannoy and the Nimrod made conversation rather difficult.

Need to see about another Scottish forum meet sometime.

I’d rather it was left as it is. I know what I’m getting with photo threads on here, and don’t have to skip through multiple Tornado/F-16 pictures to get to some of the historic types I prefer to see from some airshows (I can manage one or two pictures of modern stuff like the Waddo threads that were in here). Only way round that would be to have sub-forums within the sub-forum! Where would it end?

While on the topics of pictures I’d like to thank everyone for their time and effort in posting pictures from Legends. Quality of them has been outstanding and went some way to make up for not being there.

I’ll be there but might not meet up- depends if I can loose my Mum (long story)!

Is that it – three of us from here going? Everyone else off to Legend then!

I’m not getting them either, but my work blocks some pictures as they come from sites classified as personal.

Think I’d be another one for Fifi or Glacier Girl.

Then again, if it was for this year it would have to be ME. Looks like it’s going to be a good one.

Great pics Ren – love the Greyhound shots and the ones from the other thread. Where did you take these from? I’m never sure where the best viewing point is down there.

    and finally…

Sorry abut the quality of these but I had to scan them in as it was rather dark in the storage area so I’m not sure how they would have come out on the digi plus my battery had gone anyway!

Unfortunately the Beaufighter is outside and you can’t get too close (as you can see from the fence) as it is next to a live runway.

Probably enough but if anyone want’s to see anything else specifically, just ask.

Next batch are from Canadia Aviation Museum. Well organised and laid out museum. All the aircraft are grouped into themes. Much of their interesting stuff is in the storage area though at the back of the building. However, after asking very nicely I was allowed over the barriers to have a walk round and get some better pictures. They’re currently building an extension, so hopefully some of them will be more accessible once it’s finisghed.

First are from RCAF Memorial at Tremton. Halifax restoration is well worth seeing. There are no restrictions in the workshop (at least not when I was there), which means you can walk right round the aircraft and get up close to the work.
