Chipster as the shape is not definitive enough – get some wire wool ( 0000) or slightly coarser and find an intact/entire piece of the inside structure and clean it gently to see if there are any part numbers or inspectors stamps. They are more often around the edges than in the centre. Once you have either ( or preferably both) we stand a better change at identification.
Good luck
Interestingly The real Huey chair arrived today and whilst cleaning we came across the serial number 64-14132 a UH-1C re engined as a UH-1M and assigned to the US Army.
The serial number XT617 on the bottom may have made the ident process quicker.
Thank you. The Wasp chair is due to arrive today and the Huey chair is also nearly here.
In an other auction last week I acquired several other parts including a Skeeter door and whilst looking at Skeeters I noticed chair design was similar. Extending thoughts to other late 40’s helicopters resulted in identification.

The Huey chair for sale at the auction is a Westland Scout chair.
Similar but not the same as the SARO Skeeter chair.
Surprisingly the Westland Wasp had a different chair – different back design.
pic of a Stirling Hercules piston.
GYD that is the same one. In another forum the vendor talks about how he got it from Tiger Militaria and the lever from Graham Adlam and restored it to this.
Thank you Baz I was looking for sites not divisions with GW in them as EEP was for English Electric Preston.
The net shows EE Guided weapons making the Thunderbird and the Blue Water.
It looks to be a Blue Water tail fin.
The close up shows the same construction and square attachment as well as angled shape

Josh have you checked these files:

Just been looking through the B17 manuals for another reason and was surprised to find the B17F having the item marked A on the fuselage.
From Blenheim book (detailed guide by Norman Franks)
But looking closely at the ADF football antenna – it is in two parts that are bolted together.
The part I have has a disturbed side – the casting is shaped around a curved disturbance on one side. I had assumed it was a bad casting. Is this where it went around a mount?
Is this the starboard side of a two part clear ADF antenna similar to what is shown in the attached picture ?
P.S. an earlier discussion on aircraft DF loops

Thanks – will check that lead out!
