The attention to detail and accuracy is unsurpassed! I just finished watching the series on TV last night. Good stuff, will for sure get this on DVD.

Shinkansen
While they may not be as fast as some of the Euro types, the Japanese Shinkansen is still the coolest design group IMHO. And not to mention a very comfortable ride.

RE: Should we interfere in other countries affairs?
Only if it is directly and adversely affecting the sovereignty or the physical state/life in another country and the country doing the harm does not – with reasonable warning – desist from such activities. Sounds like international law? Probably is, but I believe there should be reasonable cause on an independent national level to act and a majority voice on an international level for more indirect concerns.
Regards, Glenn.

RE: The Washington Sniper —- Death???
For sure – multiple counts of premeditated murder, extortion, deprivation of liberty and so on. Only his national service time IMO could save him from it.

RE: AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL DAY OF MOURNING
Our worst peace time tragedy, and it has really hit home to all, and many have been touched personally. A sad time indeed.
R.I.P all those who perished, and peace be with those who lost someone.
Sincerely, Glenn.
