RE: Which up & coming films are u really expecting

I am going to see that tommorow. I have heard good things too. As this is a Spielberg film I would expect a decent level of believable accuracy.

    Regards, Glenn.

    RE: BRAZIL!!!!!!! Number one!!!

I don’t think that is Ronaldo. It looks like Kleberson(below), the guy that nearly scored a couple of goals last night. Tasteless? Yes.

    RE: Finals: Brazil Vs Germany

    >Glenn: Forget Tokyo or Seoul, imagine the party in Brasilia
    >should Brazil win 😛

Hell YES!!! And as for ancestry, in my recent NZ travels I discovered a few interesting things about the family tree that I didn’t know. My Great Grand mother on my Dad’s side is German! So I have some German blood in me! Also a cousin of the same generation from years ago, Dr Murray Levick, was a doctor in the RN and was present during the landings in Gallipoli and also served with Scott’s expedition to the South Pole.

Interesting things you find when you embark on a family reunion tour.

    Regards, Glenn.

Another one – Mad Max 4, sometime in 2004 I think. Hopefully Gibson will be in it. 🙂

    RE: Off we go….

    >Bad time to come Glenn… unless you like heavy rain and
    >flooding in the North and snow and cold weather in the South
    >Island (If you came to ski it is perfect weather in the
    >south at the moment).

Have just returned, and yes the weather did delay the flight for about 30min from Brisbane into Auckland, but we moved on from there right away and stayed in Taupo on the first night, so we missed the massive storm front that hit the North that night. The weather for the next two days in Napier was wet but after that it was good but cold, not too cold, but cold enough. The South has looked brilliant for the skiers with healthy falls over the last few days.

I did manage to get online with my Aunty’s computer on Sunday night (23rd) but only long enough to check my hotmail, which was full of junk. I was online with an e-mail station at the Motel near Auckland air port last night for an hour or so for only 6 bucks, was able to catch up a little.

All round, a great week off and New Zealand is oh so beautiful, forgot just good it is, I mean it has been 21 years nearly since I was last there.

    Regards, Glenn.

    RE: Digital camaras

    Keltic,

Try http://www.dpreview.com if you are serious about spending some real money. My brother just bought the amazing Canon A40 for AUD$800 after reading about it from this site.

Me? I will upgrade to either an SLR or digital in time, depends…

    Regards, Glenn.
