Arthur And Georgii: Insight into Russia and its many sights (and delights) is great thanks. I will get to Europe one day and Russia as well, I am more certain about that now. I have to admit I had a similar experience with Japanese when I was living in Tokyo, and now I can’t get enough of them. 🙂

    Quiz..

Can anyone guess what techno-thriller this is taken from?

The locker room was warm from misty steam but quiet and he felt alone. The swim had been rejuvenating and the shower afterwards refreshing but he had things to do now and people to see. Sitting down in front of his locker he couldn’t help but notice a small brief case sitting on top of the lockers to the left of his, he hadn’t noticed it there before and he wondered if anyone had left it behind or forgotten it. He glanced around to see if there was anyone else present, but nothing, he was alone.

He thought nothing of it after a moment and surely someone would return for it if they had left it behind. Startled soddenly, he stood up to the ringing of his mobile phone buried in the locker, clambered for the key, inserted it and opened the locker door. In that instant he surely didn’t feel a thing, or his brain didn’t have time to register the sheer pain of his body been ripped apart by the explosive contained in that mysterious brief case. The explosion was huge, wrecking the locker room and damaging almost the entire floor with shrapnel and flame spewing out into the pool area. The intended victim and the locker room had ceased to exist, not a lot was left to clean up. The target had been eliminated.

    RE: Star Wars Episode II

If they did go ahead with Episodes VII – IX, then would Lucas write a new story, or would he base the script on stories already written by independent Authors?

    RE: Star Wars Episode II

This is what I believe. The last time I heard Lucas been asked about the last 3 parts, he basically said NO, there would be no more after the prequels. BUT, its a fickle business Hollywood, and money can often change the minds of even those people who have millions already.

    >CLONE TROOPERS rule! (which makes me wonder why Storm
    >troopers … those incompetents who can’t hit the broadside
    >of a barn, replaced them)

Reminds me of something OB1 said in the original Star Wars film re: the blaster fire and atack on the Jawas. He said; “Only Storm Troppers are that accurate” And then yet through out the rest of the film and the series they can’t hit bugger all! BTW, I think Storm Troppers are Clone warriors, just a more advanced version?

    RE: Star Wars Episode II

Just saw it yesterday. One word sums it up for me, ‘better’, that is BETTER than the first episode. Sure there is lots of CG animation, but thats a very necessary medium when you are trying to scope a story like this.

Speaking of the story, its developing well, and the Journey to the dark side for Anakin Skywalker starts here in this espisode thats for sure. There are sub-plots within plots and deception everywhere, as well as some very good one-on-one duels in space and on the ground. Episode III will hopefully answer a lot of questions that this film still leaves you with.

Good flick IMO. 7.5-8 out of 10 for me.

One more thing, Yoda has a field day!! Watch it and you’ll know what I mean. And, yes Jar-Jar is back, but quiter and kept out of the story for the most part (thank god).

    Regards, Glenn.
