JN?, who are they?, only 767-200 charter carriers i can think of are Thomsonfly or flyjet?,a new operator perhaps?
XL airways they have both XLA and the JN flight code.
I think this is what TOM will be basing at DSA this summer,
3/4 – 737-300
1 – 737-800
1 – 757-200
as well as the 767-300 part based for the longhaul flights (sharing with CWL)
Funnier still is the funny face being pulled by the plane in the hangar, directly under the 757’s nose in the 2nd link :p :p :p
😀 Looks cheeky.
Yep your probably right, theres a Blueline Fokker 100 operating flights for Flybe based at Southampton on short term lease.
Does anyone know what routes MYT’s B767’s are operating this summer?
Just what i was going to ask. I suppose one will be MAN based and another up in Glasgow again maybe ?
Yep their A332 are 3-3-3 in economy and 2-3-2 in premium just like
Thomas Cooks.
http://www.mytravelairshop.dk/Seating.aspx?aircraftType=A332
I heard that they were to increase their seat pitch in economy to 31″ but i thought that was to be done over winter 2006/07?
I know that First choice 767’s dont have the usual full charter seating config now but i think that the 767-300 can fly around 11 hours 30 mins with a 328 seat configuration (weather permitting) would thuis be right?
American Trans Air – Tristar (x1)
Britannia airways/ Thomsonfly – 737-500 (x2) 767-200 (x4) 767-300 (x9)
British Midland – 737-300 (x2)
European air charter – 737-200 (x2)
Air 2000 – 757-200 (x2)
Ryanair – 737-800 (x4)
Look out soon for G-THOO with some extra bits on it’s wings 😀
Is the aircraft still in Shannon?
Do TOM 737s have IFE.
Yep all of their 737-800’s its just the 737-300 and -500 that dont.
Interesting that door 2L seems to be bigger than is usual on a -200 and also has its exterior handle blanked off. Any guesses why?
In other pictures door 2R looks to be standard.
1L.
I think this is because the aircraft has or did have? onboard airstairs fitted to both the forward and rear entrance doors. It is larger and looks different to the front door because the door folds down and the steps fold out above it.
Good little report and nice pics.
Merry christmas everyone!!!:D
According to a friend at TUI, they are ordering 738, 739’s and 772’s.
I cant see how 772’s would fit in especially in the way tui airlines structure their buisness. I think 787s or maybe more 767s would be more suitable.
Thomsonfly and the rest of the tui airlines group will dissappear within two years as they become even closer together under the tuifly brand 🙁
