I think what you were meaning was mechanically scanned, planar array (flat plate) versus electronically phased array.

I been to a Barcelona once, very beautiful men there and some of the women were quite handsome too.. Couldn’t understand a word of what they were saying so I talked to them in Portugalo.. seems like most people there speak Castilliano or something like that.. be sure to stop by your local McDonalds there.

I’ll stop if you produce a child with Mark9 and name he/she, “Chicken McNugget” or “Filet O’Fish”

The radar the Israelis wanted on the F-16I was ELTA M 2032. It would have made the plane compatible with the DASH, Python 4/5 and the Derby, so the resulting plane would have been better than your average F-16.

The 2032 was based on the 2035 which was originally developed for the Lavi. It has been offered for various markets across the globes, from Singaporean to Chilean F-5 upgrades, to the MiG-21 Lancer upgrade, to the Burmese J-7 upgrade, candidate offers to the J-8II and J-10 projects, and even as prototyping radar on the FC-1.

    domo arigato mr crobato

is the Elta M 2030 that much better? I took a look at it.. it’s range seems rather small and the radar itself looks pretty small at least the Lancer’s radar.

And I agree with The Vortex on this one, more of politics. The UAE air force is looking pretty nice, with them Block 60’s and M2k9s. What else is on their wish list?

the 3 way drawings don’t match each other.. the verticle stabilizer in the side view is much shorter looking than the one in the front profile..

further more.. the YF-23’s rear stabilizer acted as both a tail and a vertical stabilizer while on your drawing you have both a tail and a verticle stabilizer.

and such a rear stabilizer with a delta wing is unheard of.
