and with a budget of 10 billion, that will get you:

    1 F-22
    1 F-35
    1 Phalcon

    less than 400 S-400

    and then the remaining F-7PGs

    😀

it would be quite formidable against Bulgaria.. but against Romania or even Greece? no way.

Seeing as how it’s trying to replace the A-4.. isn’t the Typhoon, Rafale and Eagle a bit of overkill? middle and heavy weight multi role fighters replacing a light attack aircraft.

If anything, it should go to something like AMX, LCA, A/T-50, Gripen type of size.

I think the air force example you gave us exceeds 10 billion in costs..

Why don’t you stick to the European Aerospace Industry, you naughty girl?

Don’t we have enough threads on the above mentioned already?

and how does comaprisons between aircraft creates trouble? it’s the users who create it, not the creator.

unfortunately for the poor nice hornet bashers..

the Super Hornet is in service, acquired combat experience and already integrated with A2G and A2A weapons.. can the Eurocanards say the same? No way Juan!

lets see the Gripen or Typhoon match the range of the Super Hornet as well as being able to drop guided munitions. We also never hear of the Super Hornet being cut by politics either (cough Typhoon).
