another truth about myself:
Before working in the corporate side of McDonalds, I wanted to be a gynecologist, but there wasn’t any openings 😮

As some of you will be aware I am quite happy with my partner; yes, we are both female and we are both happy to be what we are – how you might classify us.
When I came out to my friends and family it was not all sweetness and light – it was bloody awful. When old friends found out they crawled away never to come back. Family were very embarrassed, very hurtful. When I left I vowed not to return; so far I have kept that promise but since I am now the other side of the world it hasn’t been that difficult… I now have new friends who love me for who I am.
I didn’t think Flood was gay bashing, maybe Kurmitz was reverting to the macho male stereotype(!) but then both Dartie and EAL KING both started out very defensively – almost challenging – and I also took them to actually be goading a response; sort of ‘here we are – come and have a go if you think you’re hard enough’. I thought initially that it was going to turn into a laugh – an ‘I was kidding!’ sort of thing.
Well, they got a response.
I am going to go away and think for a while. Not sure that I feel happy here now.Kathy xxx
you shouldn’t care what other people think, if they shied away from you, then i guess it shows what kind of people they are right?

PAF Air Chief in China to evaluate F-7MG & progress Super-716th August, 1999, APP, Dawn or PNS
BEIJING: The Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Pervaiz Mehdi Qureshi left Islamabad for China on Monday for a week long visit.
At Beijing he was received by Liu Shunyao, Commander of the Air Force of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA). Prior to the meeting, Mr Liu presided over a welcoming ceremony for Air Chief Marshal Qureshi. At Islamabad, the PAF Air Chief was seen off by the ambassador of China to Pakistan, Lu Shulin; Air Marshal Aliuddin, Vice Chief of Air Staff, and other PAF officers.
During his 7-day stay in China, the Chief of Air Staff will visit the General Staff Command, Capital Air Defence Command Centre, Flight Test and Training Centre and Flying College. He will also visit some of the Chinese Air Force installations and aviation industries.
The primary purpose of his visit is to evaluate the F-7MG fighter for possible induction of the aircraft into the PAF as well as to witness its demonstration. The Air Chief will also receive a first-hand progress report on the Super-7 medium technology multi-role fighter. The Super-7 is a joint venture between Pakistan and China. The Super-7 incorporates fly-by-wire (FBW) and beyond visual range (BVR) capability. It will have the same capability and performance envelope as the PAF F-16A, which it is intended to replace.
The PAF has plans to purchase at least 50 F-7MG fighters and upto 10 additional aircraft as attrition replacements. The F-7MG is a slightly modified version of the F-7MP with outwardly cranked delta wings for greater manoeuvrability. The decision to purchase the F-7MG will be taken once the aircraft is able to meet the strict technical and performance criteria laid down by the PAF. Although, the F-7MG was offered to the PAF a year ago, it was not purchased as it did not meet the criteria laid down by the PAF at that time.
In 1989, the PAF had purchased the F-7, a modified Chinese version of the venerable MiG-21, on the condition that it should be made lighter and its avionics improved. The result was the F-7MP. China later based its export variant, the F-7M on the PAF criteria. Pakistan bought a total of 20 F-7Ps (basic F-7s), 125 F-7MPs and 15 FT-7Ps in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The F-7MG was made possible by this sale to Pakistan which added an additional 10 year life to the Chinese F-7 programme which was meant to cease production of the F-7 by 2000. Now it is expected that the Chinese F-7 programme will continue up to 2010 due to the PAF purchases. The PAF is the largest user of the F-7 after the PLAAF itself.
The PAF is also looking for a BVR capability on the F-7MG as well as to upgrade its current F-7MP fleet to BVR capability. This would enable the PAF’s 160 F-7MPs to launch medium-range air-to-air missiles. The PAF is looking closely at South African, French and Chinese BVR missiles. South Africa has already offered its DARTER missile as the primary BVR weapon of the Super-7 fighter.
The PAF will make the decision whether or not to purchase the F-7MG once the Air Chief returns from China. If the decision to purchase the F-7MG is made, the order will be placed before the end of the year and delivery will commence in late 1999 or early 2000. The purchase price has already been agreed upon between Pakistan and China and the Ministry of Finance, Government of Pakistan has already sanctioned the amount for the purchase.
The Super-7 programme has recently been given greater impetus after France blocked the delivery of 8 Mirage Vs as part of a total order of 40 Mirage Vs/IIIs from Sagem SA of France. This has resulted in the PAF almost ruling out future aircraft purchases from France, including that of the Mirage 2000-5, which has been twice rejected by the PAF for being overpriced and incapable of effective air-to-air combat against fighters such as the F-16. In simulated air combat between the F-16 and the Mirage 2000-5 conducted by the PAF on numerous occasions, the technologically inferior F-16A defeated the Mirage 2000-5 on every occasion. In close-in air combat, F-7MP also outmanoeuvred the Mirage 2000-5 due to its lighter weight and smaller wings. This has resulted in the PAF concluding that the Mirage 2000-5 in the PAF would only be effective in the ground-attack and strike roles and cannot be employed as a multi-role fighter. According to the PAF criteria for future fighter purchases, the aircraft must be multi-role in the complete sense of the word and capable of carrying out ground-attack/strike as well as air defence/interception missions with equal ease and effectiveness. The Super-7 would be able to effectively satisfy both these requirements.
I don’t see how that is relevent, this is the MiG-21UPG thread, go make a F-7 thread somewhere else. The poster explicitly said this is a UPG thread.
Snapper is right, you guys all have horrid breakfasts.
If you guys (and that sole female) insist on eating just bagels, fruits or chocolate, do that for dinner, not for breakfast.
Your breakfast should be big and full of carbs from eggs or meat because this is the meal that your body will use for energy for the entire day. Eating a large dinner is useless as your body doesnt really process the carbs at night and stores it as fat. Also having breakfast as your primary meal of the day increases your metabolism.

I’m glad someone here enjoys the Big Breakfast, especially the Scramble Eggs! 😉 after McDonalds released this item, Burger King, Jack in the Box, Carls/Hardies, etc all tried to imitate it, but none can match, as they’re usually soggy.
