This is not a hotel, mind you…
i’m going to tell you and tell you flat out..
living in an oil rich country is usualy a great thing 😀
of course one day it will be gone and the luxuries will become scarce..but until then.. it truly is a great thing.. it’s one reason why Norway is reluctant to get too involved with the rest of Europe (especially financially).
I must say.. one day I really liked to visit Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE. I think SOC has been there.. hey SOC, if you’re reading, how was it? find many RUssian hookers?

To quote the Associated Press from an article about the fire….
“On Sunday, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit finished No. 1 in the United States on its opening weekend. It grossed $16.1 million in ticket sales.”
not bad, not bad I say! although 16.1 is kinda a slow weekend.

Least Nick Park took it well enough, saying it was nothing compared to the tragedies of the earthquakes recently….way to take it in stride…and from the US box office receipts he should be able to build a fairly decent new studio, i should think!
M
did it do well in the US? I thought the series never really caught on in the States.
but it’s unfortunate to hear that such a thing happened. I liked the movies.

Very,very sad.
This has been one heck of a year for natural disasters.
tell me about it 😮 seems Pakistan is the worst hit out of the 3. Hope our Pakistani forumers are okay (and their relatives too).
I wonder if India and Pakistan will send aid to assist each other, like Turkey and Greece did with their earthquakes.
