Ok Please F-18 grow up will you all, First please explain to me How its anyones fault that the Levies broke huh? Yea they have been talking about them for how many years and nothing was done you know were the blame falls it falls on the Mayor and Gov or LA and NO if they felt over the years that the money should be spent on working on the Levies then they would have spent Federal $$$ to do this over the years instead they used Federal $$ for other stuff like Welfare and Road Contsruction Ect Ect Ect

Oh for the record the reporter from the Wall Street Journal is a libral so I guess its not to Partisian after all

Grow up? Perhaps I will, but perhaps I need a role model who doesn’t rant and pant after people disagree with him on an internet forum 😉

As for the Wall Street Journal, isn’t that widely considered right leaning? but hey I guess people will say something isn’t biased when it agrees with their views and when it doesn’t.. it’s biased biased biased.

as for the blame game.. try reading this

I forgot, disagree with a liberal or a Democrat and all you’re doing is partisan finger-pointing  If that’s the case, which given the evidence he points out it’s clearly not, why isn’t it partisan finger-pointing to blame everything down there on Bush?

ever figured out that members from both your idiotic parties are to blame?

Bravo! I keep telling people the same thing-Bush is not at fault here. He activated FEMA two or three days early, but FEMA sat by and did about nothing constructive. This is just another excuse for liberals to Bush-bash, in my opinion. We’ve got politicians blaming Bush for doing nothing, when there was nothing he could do apart from activate FEMA and get Congress to give up some cash, and asinine “musicians” claiming that Bush hates black people because he hasn’t responded in the fashion these so-called artists choose. It’s sad that the first thing out of some people’s mouths has been “this is all Bush’s fault” rather than “what can I do to help”.

On a related note, the military can’t be sent in without the approval of the governor either. So all those people asking where the military was during all of this can go to Baton Rouge and ask her.

FEMA certainly has to blame..but wasn’t the head of FEMA some one Bushy appointed and some one who’s had alot of controversies in the past? If true, some may hold Bushy accountable for not firing him sooner..but from what it seems.. Bushy, Bushy papa, and El Clinton have a large hand in the poor levee quality.

^that’s great to hear! nice change from what was being said in another thread.

too bad that once things settle down and the city begins to rebuild.. everyone will go back to their distrusting ways.
