Very suggestive post PLA, and the source behind it is definately an informed one (but please put the link to it, other people might not know where it’s from), but it’s still speculative. Besides, why top off your inventory with additional MiG-25s, MiG-29s and Su-24s (which have all been well reported!) if you are going to buy Su-30MK’s as well? Also, it’s funny that the Algerian Air Force is showing to be pretty open for an Arab or North African air force, yet nothing substantial on Flankers is forthcoming from them. Nor from Russia, for that matter.

The least thing you would be expecting is the traditional bithching between Irkutsk and Komsomolsk, about who is/was going to buy those Algerian aircraft.

My Grandfather used to do that too. “We were forced to work for the people who fought those who came to liberate us, being not entirely productive helped us feel a bit better about it.” He was a forced labourer in Germany from the fall of 1944 onwards.

‘Behind blue eyes’ was already a pretty terrible song from The Who, but the nag-and-whine version of Limp Bizkit makes a perfect background noise to me throwing up. Dis-gus-ting.

So the MiG-31 is faster than the Y-12? Wow, Chinese stuff is indeed superior to Russian! 😀
