Copland was good, he really showed some vague acting-ability. Perhaps the only other time he showed to be an actor was in the brilliant crying-with-Col-Trautman scene at the end of First Blood.

Anyone seen Death Race 2000? Definately Stallone´s most obscure film, a must-see for those in to cult film stuff.

Yeah, it was their retirement-bird. IIRC it flew a nice pharewell-tour along all RAF Phantom and former-Phantom bases in 1989.

A 1974-built (just like me!) DOSAAF/ROSTO, former Soviet Army Mi-8T in the summer of 2002. The An-2s i flew in all were younger. Unfortunately, all my experiences with cool sounding airlines like Aeroflot, Tarom and Air Kenya all were with booooooring airbuses.

Not all eating requires hunger. Not all drinking requires thirst. We sometimes just enjoy these biological necessities because they are a pleasure. Please explain me the difference with sex here. As long as it’s a volountary sexual experience two (or more) have together, i don’t see the difference.

Not all eating requires hunger. Not all drinking requires thirst. We sometimes just enjoy these biological necessities because they are a pleasure. Please explain me the difference with sex here. Yep, that’s the one.

The original lyrics have indeed been scrapped, so it’s no longer about the Unbreakable Union of Freeborn Republics (ah, sarcasm, who could live without it }> ). They had some kitsch no-lyrics tune by Glinka during the Yeltsin years, but most Russians hated that since it was awful. In December 2000 Putin has reinstated the Soviet Hymn but with new lyrics by Sergei Mikhailkov. The lyrics are plain boring now, just your average crap about holy Russia, how glorious it should be, yadayada… No more glorious lyrics though.

They used to be brilliant (Mother’s Milk was a great album) but they have definately changed in to boring old farts by now. Repeating the same old sentimental acoustic guitar fluff now over and over again… yawn… and i thought ‘Under the bridge’ was boring.

Still, their cover of Stevie Wonder’s ‘Higher ground’ was brilliant.
